She learned how to sew back in December 2010 and that's where she fell in love with it. And ever since she's been making these great products that she sells in her webshop.
Citlalli makes and sells all different kinds of bags: clutches, totes, wristlets, pouches. Almost all featuring her signature textured ruffles that really make the fabric and the bag come alive. This, and the use of different fabrics, is what makes her products become true to her brandname: 'Sew Beastly', handmade with beastly love. The bags are feminine and elegant, but they're not all over girly girly. You can take these bags anywhere, not only to your prom night or your bf's wedding.
And all of this is made with salvaged, repurposed and/or organic materials, lined with a layer made from recycled plastic bottles and sent to your doorstep in biodegradable packaging. So it's as environmetally friendly as you could wish for a bag! I always love it when people think about the environment.
A little while ago I've ordered my own wristlet from her shop and I am soooooo happy with it! It really exceeded my expectations. I love taking it with me and I'm almost parading it around, haha! (I bought the one on the right bottom in the collage, nice right?).
Another great thing is that
Citlalli also has a blog! This is a place where she shares things she loves, DIY's, inspiration, all about her handmade dream 'Sew Beastly', great links on blogging, social media, creativity & other great stuff and occasionaly she shares a post straight from her heart.
I always love reading about how she made (and still makes) her dreams come true and all the things that passed her on that path.

In december 2010 leerde ze naaien en sindsdien is ze er verliefd op en maakt ze fantastische producten die ze verkoopt in haar webshop.
Citlalli maakt en verkoopt allerlei verschillende soorten tassen: kleine tasjes, handtassen, boodschappentassen, tasjes met een polsbandje. En allemaal met haar unieke gestructureerde ruches waardoor de tasjes en stof to leven komt. Dit, en het gebruik van allerlei leuke stofjes, zorgt ervoor dat de producten recht doen aan de merknaam: 'Sew Beastly', handgemaakt met beestachtige liefde. De tasjes zijn vrouwelijk en elegant, maar zijn absoluut niet alleen maar meisjesachtig. Haar tassen kun je overal mee naartoe nemen en zijn niet alleen voor je gala-avond en de trouwdag van je beste vriendin.
En dit alles is gemaakt met geschonken, hergebruikte en/of organische stoffen, de binnenkant bekleed met een laag gemaakt van gerecyclede plastic flessen en opgestuurd naar jou thuis in een afbreekbare verpakking. Dus het is zo milieuvriendelijk als je maar kunt vragen voor een tas! Ik vind het altijd mooi als mensen aan het milieu denken.
Een tijdje terug heb ik mijn eigen tas met polsbandje bij haar gekocht en ik ben er zooooo blij mee! Het heeft echt mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Ik neem hem graag overal mee naartoe en paradeer er bijna mee in het rond, haha! (Ik heb het tasje rechtsonderin de collage gekocht, mooi hè?)
En ook leuk, is dat
Citlalli blogt over dingen die ze leuk vindt, DIY's, inspiratie, alles over haar handgemaakte droom 'Sew Beastly', linkjes deelt over bloggen, social media, creativity & meer en af en toe ook een blogpost recht uit het hart.
